What You’ll Do Responsible for assigned book of business. Process renewals and incidental new business, cancellations, audits, and endorsement requests. Responsible for accuracy of your work product and that of others assisting you. Issue certificates of insurance, when necessary. Create certificate guidelines form. Initiate renewal meetings and be responsible for renewal process. Negotiate coverages and premiums with carriers. Provide producer and/or client executive with accurate renewal proposals. Check policy coverages, endorsements and audits for accuracy. Respond to or refer insureds' and underwriters' questions or requests. Invoice policies, audits, endorsements, cancellations and other appropriate transactions. Assist producer, accounting department and client in the reconciliation of client accounts. Responsible for account rounding. Attend company and department meetings, position-related seminars/classes, client meetings, carrier functions, and other events as required. Adhere to policies and procedures set forth for the Department and Bolton & Company. Pursue a program for professional development, including attending educational classes in your specific field and those offered by Bolton in communication, leadership, corporate language and other classes as recommended by leaders Be an active, responsible team member, conducting yourself in a professional and respectful manner to all internal and external clients, carriers, and staff.
