About The Position

This position involves driving and managing the preparation of detailed financial models and presentations for clients, as well as internal committee memos. The role requires partnering on transaction execution, including mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, and other equity and debt capital raising activities across various sectors such as real estate, lodging, gaming, and home building. The candidate will need to keep abreast of market trends and collaborate closely with more senior bankers to develop and implement strategic financial solutions for clients. Additionally, the role includes prospecting new clients, managing existing client relationships, and leading day-to-day client dialogue and idea generation. Mentoring investment banking analysts and associates is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or related field plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Client Management, Investment Banker, or related occupation.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Client Management, Investment Banker, or related occupation.
  • Three years of experience conducting detailed financial analyses in Excel, including cash flow accretion, value creation, DCF, LBO, and NAV modeling.
  • Experience preparing financial projection models and presentations for boards of directors, executive management teams, lenders, investors, and rating agencies.
  • Experience partnering on the creation and refinement of marketing and project execution materials in PowerPoint.
  • Ability to review, explain, and communicate financial concepts and ideas.
  • Experience recruiting, training, and mentoring investment banking analysts.
  • Professional interaction with clients and transaction counterparties.
  • Ability to combine and analyze financial information from various sources.
