About The Position

This role is critical in ensuring a smooth, compliant, and efficient onboarding, transition, and conversion process for financial services clients. The Client Implementation Specialist will manage account openings, closures, and system conversions, acting as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams. You will perform data analysis, reconciliation, and project management activities while providing guidance on platform functionality and process improvements. The position offers high visibility across cross-functional teams, opportunities to influence client experience, and the chance to contribute to operational and product enhancements. Strong communication, analytical skills, and attention to detail are key to success in this fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in client onboarding, transitions, or financial services operations
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Hands-on experience with cost basis and tax reporting platforms
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end onboarding and conversion processes for financial institutions, including data migration, documentation, and BAU transitions
  • Strong project coordination or management skills, including planning, reporting, and issue resolution
  • Product management mindset with the ability to translate client needs into platform enhancements
  • Excellent communication, client engagement, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with onboarding systems or workflow tools is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate onboarding and conversion processes for financial services clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a seamless experience
  • Conduct data analysis, reconciliation, and review of incoming/outgoing information for platform transitions
  • Lead client calls and meetings, providing documentation support, guidance, and follow-up
  • Manage project activities including scheduling, reporting, issue tracking, and risk escalation
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources to meet client needs and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards
  • Review control reports and resolve onboarding/conversion issues proactively
  • Recommend process and product improvements based on client feedback, data insights, and platform usage
