As the Implementation Director for Lumeris' AI-powered platform, Tom, you will be responsible for the overall success of implementation programs, ensuring operational excellence in bringing AI-driven solutions to life within healthcare systems. You will apply approved methodologies, risk management, and problem-resolution techniques, overseeing the delivery of implementations across diverse healthcare environments. You will drive collaboration, influence strategic planning, and manage cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and scale of Tom.

  • Lead the strategic direction and overall execution of AI-powered implementation programs for Tom within healthcare environments, ensuring alignment with client expectations and internal goals.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and support to cross-functional teams to ensure accountability, collaboration, and high performance across all phases of the program.
  • Oversee and guide the implementation of Tom solutions across diverse healthcare systems, ensuring program timelines, budgets, and resource allocation meet established targets.
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities, balancing multiple key stakeholder demands and adapting real-time to evolving needs.
  • Cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with both internal and external clients, including health system leaders, clinical teams, and technical vendors.
  • Clearly communicate program expectations, provide regular updates, and ensure all project goals are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Coordinate across various teams (Product, Clinical, AI, Engineering) to ensure the seamless integration of Tom into primary care workflows, aligning implementation plans with both Lumeris' vision and client-specific requirements.
  • Ensure proper coordination of resources to deliver a successful deployment of AI solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including AI engineers, project managers, and client SMEs.
  • Guide, mentor, and motivate team members to ensure successful implementation and transition of AI technologies from deployment to ongoing operational support.
  • Drive continuous improvement of implementation processes and methodologies, ensuring the efficient delivery of AI solutions.
  • Address impediments and risks that arise, escalating as necessary, while utilizing data-driven approaches to resolve challenges and mitigate disruptions.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of program deliverables, timelines, and methodologies are adhered to.
  • Support the development of best practices and processes for AI-powered program delivery, creating templates, tracking mechanisms, and learning materials to streamline future implementations.
  • Play a meaningful role in transitioning Tom from implementation to ongoing support and maintenance, ensuring continued success, sustainability, and operationalization of AI-driven care solutions within client environments.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in project/program management, healthcare consulting, or implementation leadership, specifically in AI-driven healthcare technology solutions.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale, complex programs involving advanced AI/ML systems, preferably within healthcare settings.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly with electronic health records (EHRs), claims data, and healthcare workflows.
  • Familiarity with primary care models, value-based care, and AI's role in transforming patient engagement and care delivery.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, driving strategic direction, and fostering collaboration among diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, influencing, and facilitation skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to represent Lumeris to clients, partners, and external vendors.
  • Solid experience in program management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and Lean Six Sigma.
  • Expertise in applying business process methodologies to complex, ambiguous projects, with a strong focus on creating innovative solutions and ensuring operational success.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, mitigate risks, and resolve conflicts that may arise during program delivery.
  • Experience in identifying and managing technical and operational risks associated with AI-driven healthcare deployments.
  • Experience using tools such as Atlassian, Smartsheet, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Tableau for project management, reporting, and tracking.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) and/or PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner) certification.
  • Experience working with or implementing AI-driven platforms within primary care or healthcare technology.
