In this role, you will ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient environment that supports employees, visitors, and research activities. This is a hands-on leadership position, requiring someone who not only manages a team but actively works alongside them, setting the standard for daily operations. Experience in Hospitality and Facilities Management Operations is required. Background in Hard Services, Laboratory environments, and Project Management is strongly preferred.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Facility Management, Project Management, and ideally, Laboratory operations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with staff, peers, leadership, and guests.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and managing complex operational environments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, management, and oversight for all vendors and internal staff, including Mailroom, Events, Maintenance, Janitorial services, Audio Visual, Food Services, and small building project teams.
  • Support two pharmaceutical sites, one in the Seaport district and one in Cambridge. One location is an office environment, while the other combines office and laboratory spaces.
