About The Position

Acts as an agent of broker assigned accounts for Private Client Services, including servicing and/or solicitation activities. Manages book of business and directs the work of a service team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Eight (8) or more years related work experience
  • Valid insurance license
  • Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of wide array of private client customizable coverages
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good problem solving and time management skills
  • Good planning, organizational and prioritization skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build trust and de-escalate concerns
  • Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

  • Receive and develop new business leads from Producers, or identify and develop cross-sell opportunities
  • Responsible for renewal business and soliciting additional lines of coverage
  • Evaluate assigned client coverage portfolio to implement cross selling opportunities and solicitation of additional lines of coverage
  • Service account and provide claims support as needed
  • Analyze exposure base to identify program deficiencies and develop proper marketing strategies
  • Complete applications, obtain quotes, negotiate premiums and commissions, and prepare proposals and presentations
  • Bind coverage, identify deficiencies, and determine appropriate level of coverage
  • Meet with clients as needed or as directed by Producer
  • Review accounting history, respond to accounting inquiries, correct discrepancies, and contact clients on receivable collections
  • Serve as technical expert, assist department members to resolve complex issues
  • Handle collection of fees, reconciling and resolving any outstanding balances within 90 days of invoicing
  • Comply with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enter and maintain complete and accurate information)
  • Other duties as assigned.
