Sentara Health Plans is hiring a Client Executive, Large Group Sales- Remote in South Hampton Roads (Norfolk, VA Beach, Suffolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth), Peninsula (Newport News., Yorktown and Hampton) or Northeast North Carolina (Moyock, Elizabeth City)! Status: Full-time, permanent position (40 hours) Standard working hours: 8am to 5pm EST, M-F Location: Remote in South Hampton Roads (Norfolk, VA Beach, Suffolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth), Peninsula (Newport News., Yorktown and Hampton) or Northeast North Carolina (Moyock, Elizabeth City); With travel to 2x a month in 1330 Sentara Park office, plus seasonal client and broker meetings/events Job responsibilities: The Client Executive is responsible for retaining profitable business in the Large Group segment (i.e., 151+ eligible employees), using a consultative, strategic sales approach to achieve business objectives on assigned book of business. Manage complex and extended renewal negotiations for a range of funding arrangements related to an assigned book of business. Lead the relationship management and strategic development of brokers and consultants representing mutual customers. Communicate with and present to business strategies and employer level reporting to senior level executives, decision makers and key influencers. Manage an internal team through day-to-day service and operations as well as annual workflow processes. Coach and evaluate team performance. Assist with enrollment meetings, support health fairs and participate in market events representing Sentara Health Plan in a positive and professional manner. Support strategic profitable growth objectives to include EAP, Clinical and Employer Solutions. Education: Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience required or HS grad and 8 years related experience. Certification/Licensure: Must obtain a Life and Health Insurance License within 90 days of hire. Driver's License - Other/National Experience: Related experience includes sales or client services, health insurance industry experience required.
