About The Position

The Client Engagement Manager at Umpqua Bank is responsible for initiating and leading complex, long-term programs that support the bank's enterprise strategy. This role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of programs, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget while meeting quality and performance standards. The manager will coordinate with various stakeholders, manage client relationships, and ensure compliance with banking regulations, all while fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in management, business, or related field.
  • 4-7 years of program/project management experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
  • Superior relationship management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Superior knowledge of products and services in the program area.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in delivering solutions to complex organizational challenges.
  • Proven ability to create and oversee programs from ideation to continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency with personal computer and related software packages such as Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and lead complex, long-term programs for bank divisions or business lines.
  • Define program scope and objectives, involving relevant stakeholders.
  • Oversee lifecycles of large, complex programs from ideation to execution and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and contribute to detailed plans to monitor and track program progress.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for programs.
  • Implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
  • Measure program performance and report progress to stakeholders.
  • Provide training on program features and benefits to others.
  • Resolve problems, complete audits, and identify trends for system improvements.
  • Monitor financial objectives and support budget preparation.
