About The Position

S&P is seeking a client-oriented individual to join the Client Engagement team, covering the EDM product offering. You will play a critical role in representing the customer's voice within S&P and representing S&P to the customer. This trusted and crucial function is integral to the business. The Client Engagement Team is responsible for proactively fostering meaningful relationships with clients, identifying opportunities to leverage the company's products, ensuring clients achieve their objectives, and deriving maximum value from the services provided. This team acts as the primary point of contact for non-commercial relationship management with clients.

Requirements

  • Degree educated.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable conducting business analysis and working with clients to understand their requirements.
  • Proactive and able to work independently.
  • Ability to listen, learn quickly, and demonstrate initiative.
  • Capable of preparing presentations and presenting to clients and internal audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to easily adapt communication style in different situations.
  • Ability to speak another language (preferred but not essential).
  • 'Can do' attitude to challenges and proven team-working ability.
  • Highly motivated, disciplined, confident, and a team player.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to understand their needs and objectives.
  • Schedule regular meetings (monthly or quarterly) with a clear agenda, including roadmap updates, upgrades, and new functionality.
  • Provide transparency to internal stakeholders in Sales, Product, and Commercial teams regarding client feedback, issues, renewal risks, and opportunities.
  • Follow up on actions from client engagement meetings and close the feedback loop.
  • Understand client workflows and product usage.
  • Increase product adoption and usage among clients.
  • Collaborate with sales to schedule client meetings and demos.
  • Act as a point of escalation for Support, Product, or Project workstreams.
  • Maintain knowledge of contract details, pricing, and terms.
