About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Education Content Strategist to drive the development of high‑impact digital customer education for Fidelity Stock Plan Services (SPS). In this role, you will combine critical thinking, deep analytical ability, and hands‑on content creation to develop educational experiences that help SPS clients confidently understand our equity compensation products and services.

Requirements

  • 5-6 years of proven experience in content strategy, client education, learning content development, client communications, or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Business, or related field
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, or similar tools
  • Analytical and decision‑making skills —you evaluate information from multiple sources, resolve ambiguity, and make sound content decisions with minimal oversight
  • Expert communication —you write and structure content clearly and concisely, adapting messaging for different audiences and client needs
  • Demonstrated ability to research, understand, and simplify complex concepts—preferably in equity compensation or financial services, turning them into plain, accessible language
  • Experience conducting structured SME interviews and synthesizing subject‑matter input into clear, accurate learning materials
  • Proven ability to run or contribute to an agile content production workflow (e.g., sprint planning, backlog management, QA cycles)
  • Experience partnering with designers, UX teams, animators, and/or media production teams to bring content to life
  • Cross‑functional collaboration —you lead without authority and work effectively with designers, product teams, legal partners, and business collaborators to achieve your goals
  • Client‑centric mindset —you bring emotional intelligence and a strong understanding of client needs, language, and challenges
  • Creative thinking aligned to business outcomes —you bring ideas for new content formats, visual approaches, and scalable processes

Responsibilities

  • Designing and writing clear, accurate, client‑friendly educational content that aligns with brand, legal, accessibility, and quality standards
  • Applying in‑depth knowledge of equity compensation concepts, theories, and practices to craft learning resources that improve client understanding and self-service outcomes
  • Conducting interviews with SMEs and business partners to uncover essential information, translating it into learning materials, guides, scripts, and client resources
  • Running an agile content development workflow , including planning, prioritization, production, feedback incorporation, and quality assurance
  • Creating and maintaining a scalable library of content—written, visual, and digital—that supports SPS education goals
  • Leading content refinement cycles by incorporating partner feedback and ensuring content accuracy and clarity
  • Collaborating with graphic designers, UX designers, and multimedia partners to translate content into videos, visuals, mockups, and interactive learning formats
  • Seeing opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in content, processes, and delivery channels
  • Providing informal direction and subject‑matter guidance to teammates or partners, even without direct managerial authority
  • Solving a variety of moderately complex to complex problems by evaluating information, anticipating client needs, and making informed strategic decisions
