Client Director This key leadership position is focused on the development, growth, and increased market share of work with our platinum client. This is an incredibly visible and prestigious position, internally and externally. A Client Director at Mott MacDonald is responsible for building and managing strategic relationships with senior stakeholders to ensure trust, alignment, and long-term partnership

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior client stakeholders, ensuring trust and alignment with their requirements.
  • Drive business development through positioning for new opportunities and maintaining a strong client pipeline.
  • Lead bid processes and support project delivery teams—ensuring technical and commercial robustness.
  • Oversee commercial performance, risk management, and quality outcomes for client projects.
  • Promote account leadership across all levels of Sound Transit and drive collaborative engagement across the business.
  • Exemplify leadership by upholding Mott MacDonald’s ethical standards and values, ensuring zero tolerance for unacceptable behaviors. Manage and eliminate conflicts of interest, ensuring compliance and ethical conduct.
  • Engage proactively across the NW US Market, demonstrating inspiring leadership. Foster collaboration across the Region to deliver the best of Mott MacDonald to our platinum client. Raise the profile and reputation of Mott MacDonald with our platinum client.
  • Nurture talent, growing a pipeline of strategically minded personnel and deepen pipeline of professionals in this area. Provide mentoring to team members.
  • Represent Mott MacDonald at networking opportunities, speak at events and contribute to events.
