About The Position
The Virginia Veterinary Center in Short Pump, VA is hiring a full- time Client Care Specialist to join our outstanding team! Are you looking for a new and exciting work environment? Do you have a passion for emergency veterinary care and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment? Virginia Veterinary Centers is a multi-specialty referral practice and emergency hospital caring for animals in the greater Richmond area. We are seeking to fill a full- time Client Care Specialist position on our emergency team and this position would be on the evening shift. Shift Details: 2pm - 12am 4/10- hour shifts per week Weekends as needed
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient typing skills and comfortable navigating digital records systems
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to quickly learn how to use internal company software systems.
- Must be well organized.
- Ability to handle high pressure and stressful situations and events in a calm supportive manner.
- Candidates are required to have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be willing and able to days/evenings and weekends.
Nice To Haves
- vocational certificate/diploma in business or office administration preferred.
- Experience in the veterinary or medical field is a plus.
Responsibilities
- High volume receptionist experience desired with proficiency in multi-line phone and computer systems.
- Ability to review estimates, discuss financial options, and process payments.
