About The Position

The Utah Center for Evidence-Based Treatment (UCEBT) is seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented Client Care Coordinator to support both our clinical team and the clients we serve. Client Care Coordinators play an important role in ensuring that clients receive a supportive, organized, and professional experience while helping clinicians coordinate care effectively. This position is ideal for individuals interested in mental health, psychology, healthcare administration, or clinical program coordination , particularly those planning to pursue graduate training in psychology, counseling, social work, or related mental health fields. Many of our past coordinators have gone on to pursue graduate programs in psychology and other healthcare professions. The mission of the Utah Center for Evidence-Based Treatment is to improve the quality of mental health care in Utah and beyond by expanding access to evidence-based treatments, psychological evaluations, and testing services. We accomplish this by providing exceptional clinical care while advancing quality standards through training, research, and professional consultation. Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of administrative experience
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work from home when scheduled remotely
  • A secure, private, distraction-free workspace
  • Reliable high-speed internet
  • Encrypted wireless router ( WPA2-AES or equivalent )
  • Access to a smartphone for work-related communication
  • Ability to maintain a HIPAA-compliant remote workspace
  • Walking throughout the office, including stairs
  • Occasional lifting of boxes or files
  • Computer work and typing
  • Sitting approximately 70–75% of the time and standing 25–30%
  • Communicating with clients in person and by phone
  • Access to a telehealth-compliant workspace and laptop
  • Employees will be expected to follow applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to mental health services, including: HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) Utah Human Services Code Title 62A, Chapter 15 — Substance Abuse and Mental Health Act APA Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct UCEBT Operations Manual and confidentiality policies

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming and supportive environment for clients
  • Coordinate client scheduling and communication
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, clinicians, and program directors
  • Assist clinicians with client tracking, documentation coordination, and administrative support
  • Maintain accurate client records and data integrity
  • Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA confidentiality guidelines
  • Confirm authorization for release of information before communication with external providers or family members
