We’re seeking a Client Bills Supervisor to join us. This is a remote position.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of medical billing or client accounting experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity
  • Comprehensive understanding of medical billing processes and client invoicing procedures
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including experience communicating directly with clients and management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing tasks, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing business needs
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and develop a team of Client Bill Associates, providing ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and training to support professional growth and departmental success
  • Ensure timely and accurate client invoicing in alignment with client contracts, company policies, and internal quality standards
  • Monitor workload distribution, work queues, and SLA performance to maintain balance and meet established timelines
  • Review and approve complex or escalated billing matters, ensuring accurate resolution and clear communication with clients
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments such as Accounting, Implementation, and Client Success to resolve billing issues and streamline processes
  • Maintain strong client relationships by participating in client calls, supporting escalated discussions, and reinforcing trust through consistent delivery and professionalism
  • Oversee client portal utilization, ensuring both team and client proficiency with Zotec’s Group Bill Portal
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement, communicating recommendations to leadership and driving process efficiencies
  • Report on team metrics, billing accuracy, and client satisfaction, providing insight to management on performance and improvement areas
  • Support onboarding of new clients and ensure seamless billing integration during implementation
