Requirements

  • High School diploma required.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to apply knowledge and sound judgment in decision-making using established guidelines.
  • Proficient level of computer competency including Microsoft Windows (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong math skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Detail oriented and ability to function in a team environment.
  • Demonstrates ability to maintain a positive attitude.
  • High level of integrity.
  • Able to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Willing to accept new ideas and methods and be agreeable to change.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study preferred.
  • Series 7, 66 Securities license desired but not required.
  • Typing and ten-key proficient preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Upholds SmartBank Core Values and Core Purpose.
  • Adheres to and embraces the SmartBank Way by Acting Smart, Looking Smart and Being Smart.
  • Coordinates daily activities of investment group ensuring that client needs are met.
  • Acts as primary contact of incoming calls.
  • Assists with processing of deposits and distributions from client accounts.
  • Assists with preparation of client presentation materials.
  • Assists with account opening and maintenance of account files/documents.
  • Works with Financial Advisor(s) to resolves account related administrative and operational deficiencies.
  • Works with Financial Advisor(s) to prepare outgoing marketing and other client correspondence.
  • Assist Financial Advisor(s) with any pending alerts or other corporate actions.
  • Complies with all applicable federal, state, and local banking and industry related laws and regulations including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
