As the Client Associate you will develop industry knowledge and skills to support account teams in delivering exceptional service to Gallagher's clients. You will work alongside experienced team members as you learn the business. Through hands on learning, you will gain the knowledge, skills and abilities to make client-related decisions independently.

Requirements

  • Build knowledge of GBS tools, systems and shared resources
  • Actively seek to develop professional skills and insurance knowledge through a combination of on-the-job learning and formal instruction

Responsibilities

  • Study and apply Gallagher's resources (Underwriting, Compliance, GSC), available tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), established work products and knowledge (benefits, self-funding etc.) to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in client deliverables with oversight from experienced team members
  • Complete Employee Benefits 101 curriculum in eLearn
  • Gather and store new client information for the GSC
  • Provide support to GBS (Office) by completing and adhering to CSO processes as directed
  • Learn, support and assist with the Client Service Cycle with oversight from experienced team members
  • Begin to understand basic concepts of fully-insured renewal process
  • Begin to recognize basic concepts and definitions of self-funded plan designs and quarterly/experience reporting
  • Become familiar with the vendors and carriers and begin to understand the concept of ‘preferred vendors'
  • Complete all training necessary to become familiar with and apply the GBS BOSS Professional Standards
  • Assist service team with small, fully insured RFPs; learning to update and maintain plan options with direction
  • Leverage team members to ensure timely delivery of requests for clients, vendors and internal partners
  • Assist with basic and straightforward client communications
  • Shadow client meetings and provide logistical support
  • Develop strong oral and written communication skills, demonstrated through the ability to effectively present in open enrollment meetings, participate on client calls and correspond via email
  • Be innovative and don't be satisfied with the status quo! Generate new and practical ideas, always look to improve upon technical and professional skills
