About The Position

The Lead Client Service Associate is responsible for overseeing daily team operations, supporting Financial Advisors, and ensuring the Client Service Associate team functions efficiently and effectively. This role combines leadership, process management, and mentorship to drive team performance, align tasks with strategic goals, and maintain continuity across client service functions.

Requirements

  • Series 7 and 66 licenses (required)
  • Ideally 2 years of experience in client service, within the finance sector
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, focusing on finance
  • Excellent communicator and leadership skills
  • Organized and detail oriented (nothing gets past you)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily and weekly team meetings by preparing agendas, reviewing progress, and ensuring alignment with key goals, action items, and quarterly objectives.
  • Manage and track team tasks through the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system by delegating assignments, setting deadlines, and ensuring timely follow-ups with Client Service Associates.
  • Partner with Financial Advisors to coordinate action items from Strategic and Tactical Updates, ensuring information is collected, executed, and communicated effectively.
  • Provide ongoing updates to Financial Advisors on task progress, completions, delays, and escalations as needed.
  • Collaborate with Financial Advisors to establish performance metrics for team members and support quarterly evaluations and improvement initiatives.
  • Engage with Client Service Associates to leverage individual strengths and interests, aligning project assignments with overall team success.
  • Oversee the student internship program, ensuring interns are successfully integrated, assigned responsibilities, and meeting performance expectations.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the team and internal departments as well as external partners, including business coaches and consultants.
  • Provide cross-functional support by assisting with Client Service Associate-related tasks, maintaining the knowledge required to train, guide, and step in as needed to ensure continuity of operations.
