Gallagher Re's Global Strategic Advisory (GSA) team delivers data-driven research and insights that support informed decision-making for clients - primarily in the property & casualty (re)insurance market. As a nimble, solutions-oriented group, we address client-specific challenges in the following areas: Growth advisory and market entry, Cycle management analysis, Peer and industry benchmarking, Company and market research. Our research integrates proprietary data, licensed third-party information, and publicly available sources. Our embedded position within Gallagher Re allows us to deliver analysis grounded in both data and real-world market experience. GSA operates as an integrated part of the broader Gallagher Re platform, working closely with colleagues across a range of professional disciplines. We deliver insights and research through multiple formats and channels, tailored to each client engagement. We are seeking candidates with up to three years of professional experience, including recent university graduates. As an analyst in the GSA team, you will support the production and delivery of high-impact research and insights for both external clients and internal stakeholders. At the same time, you will be building your knowledge of the property & casualty (re)insurance industry. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a strong record of academic achievement
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence, continuous learning, and self-improvement
  • Proven quantitative and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present ideas effectively
  • A collaborative team player with strong emotional intelligence (EQ)
  • Energetic and enthusiastic, with the ability to support cross-functional initiatives
  • Capable of working under pressure, managing priorities, and meeting deadlines
  • Preference for candidates who thrive in entrepreneurial, fast-paced environments
  • Willingness to travel as required

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 years of experience in a strategic or analytical role, ideally with exposure to the insurance or reinsurance industry; outstanding new graduates will also be considered
  • Relevant experience may include actuarial work, investment or industry research, corporate strategy, management consulting, investment banking, or roles within a rating agency
  • Progress toward actuarial credentials or the CFA designation - or a demonstrated interest in pursuing such qualifications
  • Understanding of U.S. statutory and GAAP accounting for insurance companies
  • Experience using S&P Capital IQ

Responsibilities

  • Conduct data analysis on industry and company trends, synthesizing findings to extract actionable business insights.
  • Support client engagements by collaborating with team members to develop clear, concise presentations that communicate analytical conclusions and strategic recommendations.
