Summary The Senior Analyst will work in partnership with the Managing Director and Vice President (Client Advisors / “CAs”) to cover institutional investors in the western half of the United States. The Analyst's primary objective is to help grow the business in the territory. Ideal Experience: Candidate will have ~1-3 years of relevant experience. Experience in, or exposure to, the financial markets would be viewed as a plus, whether in investment banking, asset management or investment/management consulting. An executive assistant possessing the competencies below who is looking for more direct investment and client experience could also be a great fit. Responsibilities The Senior Analyst will play a critical role as the project manager within the team. This role requires a high degree of organization and ability to collaborate across the different working groups within the firm (e.g. investments, marketing, legal & operations, among others). This person will partner with the team in every aspect of the business development process from the initial research all the way through to the final closing of business.

Responsibilities

  • Deep knowledge of territory: Understand, analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative information about institutional investors: e.g. public records research, ongoing monitoring of industry publications, review databases & analysis of past Salesforce activity
  • Draft thoughtful Prep Notes that leverages available information and help the team maximize the impact of meetings and Conferences.
  • Identify business leads: Leverage all available data sources to ensure we are engaging with the right people, at the right time, with the right content
  • Identify target contacts: Utilize LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other tools, especially in the family office channel
  • Update Salesforce and other tools that help us keep track of the territory
  • Find creative ways to utilize AI to maximize efficiency and efficacy of responsibilities listed above
  • Maintain database of written and verbal talking points for all focus investment strategies
  • Be familiar with the various external contents that investment teams produces for institutional clients
  • Liaise and establish strong relationships with internal investment teams.
  • Show natural curiosity for the investment expertise of the firm and proactively seek out ideas for campaigns / roadshows which we might host within the territory
  • Help Client Advisors to better prospect and look for solutions that helps allocators in the territory
  • Ability to keep track of the various action items, ongoing project streams, and deadlines within the territory to ensure requests are moving forward and completed timely.
  • Heavy involvement with the MD/VP and adjacent NB teams while investors are conducting due diligence on NB Strategies. This includes help with agendas, custom decks, scheduling, researching/composing answers to client questions and everything that needs to be done through the process
  • Take a leadership role in working with the RFP team through the process and help tailor responses to client fit where necessary. This involves sourcing the opportunity from the news, reading through RFP documents, coordinating with various functional teams internally, reviewing draft documents, and finalizing submission packets
  • Own the process of preparing meeting materials and drafting follow-ups
  • Help propose ideas for proactive outreach and maintain detailed logs of outreach in Salesforce
