About The Position

The Archway is Tarrant County’s only state-designated family violence program, dedicated to working alongside domestic violence victims to ensure their safety while holding offenders accountable. We are seeking a Client Advocate PRN (As Needed) to assist our shelter residents with their daily living needs and provide general support to maintain the safety of residents, staff, and the building with minimal direct supervision. This role is critical in helping us fulfill our mission of ending intimate partner violence in Tarrant County and offers a flexible work-life balance.

Requirements

• Six months of experience working in a residential facility, shelter, or similar environment

Responsibilities

• Assisting shelter residents with daily living needs
• Providing general support and shelter coverage
• Conducting intake assessments and resident orientations
• Maintaining and updating the client database
• Preparing rooms for new residents
• Conducting safety checks
• Answering hotline calls to screen for shelter and community resources
