About The Position

Since 1956, Lewer has served as an advocate for independent business owners who seek to protect what they’ve built and prepare for the future. In 1991, our student division was formed to protect people around the world. Lewer offers a concierge approach to employee and student insurance by providing tailored benefit strategies designed to create healthier businesses, families, and individuals. As a Client Advocacy Advisor, you lead the day-to-day management of an assigned book of business and are accountable for delivering the full-service plan for each client. You ensure plan performance, documentation, and service activities are executed accurately and on time, oversee implementation and transition work, coordinate marketing activity and carrier deliverables, and guide client communications and meeting preparation. You own issue resolution and escalations, maintain complete and current records across systems, and provide clear recommendations that advance benefit strategy, renewal readiness, and compliance expectations. Your Key Areas of Impact Client Satisfaction: You lead the day-to-day client relationship for a designated book of business, set the tone and cadence for service delivery, and ensure questions and issues receive timely, accurate responses. You prepare materials for client meetings, document decisions and next steps, and keep stakeholders informed as work progresses. You maintain comprehensive records of communications and resolutions so that clients experience consistent, professional service and can rely on a clear history of activity and outcomes. Plan Strategy: You translate client objectives into practical benefit strategies by evaluating options, coordinating marketing activity, and developing plan comparisons and benchmarking that inform recommendations. You review plan documents and contracts for accuracy, monitor regulatory updates, and provide compliance communications as needed so that clients understand options, risks, and impacts before making decisions. Your work supports funding, vendor, and design choices that align with client goals and deliver measurable value. Renewal Outcomes: You lead renewal readiness and execution by requesting and tracking carrier renewals and quotes, validating results, and preparing clear analyses and recommendations for client review. You coordinate open enrollment timelines and communications, support meeting delivery, and oversee carrier submissions and final documentation to ensure accurate, on-time implementation. Your stewardship through the renewal cycle strengthens planning discipline, improves decision quality, and supports client satisfaction and retention. Operational Excellence: You uphold data integrity, documentation completeness, and financial accuracy across systems and files by maintaining current specifications, applications, summaries, and policy checks; coordinating invoicing; and addressing discrepancies promptly. You manage implementation activities when plans change or new carriers are introduced and keep service schedules and project plans on track. You set a high standard for responsiveness, clarity, and follow-through, and you provide guidance to junior team members on process, quality, and client expectations to promote consistent delivery.
