Responsibilities
- Dedicate time to building lasting connections with small business owners through phone calls and messages.
- Analyze client feedback and market trends to identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns and initiatives to upsell additional services and expand client relationships.
- Utilize accounting expertise to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial processes, including tax strategy and accounting principles.
- Provide comprehensive financial guidance, strategic planning, and tailored solutions that optimize clients' financial health and minimize tax liabilities.
- Drive business growth, increase client retention, and identify opportunities to offer additional products and services.
- Research complex tax subjects and stay up-to-date on the latest tax codes, focusing on advanced tax planning techniques.
- Provide timely and professional communication with clients via a softphone/messaging system, ensuring a seamless client experience.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives focusing on tax efficiency and compliance.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience preparing individual tax returns.
- 1+ years of experience preparing small business tax returns.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain intricate tax concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets, tax preparation, and bookkeeping software.
Nice-to-haves
