About The Position

The position involves building and maintaining relationships with customers, understanding their financial goals, and matching their needs with Seacoast Bank products and services. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 6 months cash handling experience preferred.
  • College degree preferred.
  • 2+ years in financial services experience required.
  • Flexible schedule required with ability to work during operational hours, including weekends.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and exercise a high degree of initiative.
  • PC Proficiency in Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, and Smartphone devices as well as Microsoft Office Suite software.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibit consistent relationship building with customers.

  • Utilize open and closed-ended questions to understand customer financial goals.
  • Match customer needs to Seacoast Bank products and services.
  • Explain Seacoast Bank products and services confidently.
  • Create and enhance relationships based on customer needs.
  • Ask for referrals from new and existing customers.
  • Respond promptly to customer needs and requests for service.
  • Seek out appropriate people for complex financial matters.
  • Balance business needs with customer requests while managing risk.
  • Embrace new technology and stay updated on industry changes.
  • Participate in community, charitable, or civic events.
  • Deliver presentations regarding banking products/services.
  • Collaborate with other associates to develop trusting relationships.
  • Acquire NMLS registration status.
  • Exhibit proficiencies in consumer deposit and lending products.
  • Understand small business deposit and lending products.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in outbound calling processes.
  • Identify referral opportunities with internal business partners.
  • Build proficiencies with Treasury Management solutions.
  • Discuss and enroll customers in self-service products.
  • Work collaboratively with leadership to meet small business needs.
  • Open and process accounts, perform account maintenance.
  • Ensure branch adherence to AML/BSA requirements.
  • Practice ethical sales behaviors in accordance with policies.
  • Balance cash drawer daily and monitor work for accuracy.
  • Follow management direction to resolve customer objections.
  • Adhere to Seacoast Bank's Code of Conduct.
  • Follow all safety and security procedures.
