About The Position

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh as a Client Advisor supporting our Environmental clients. This role will be based in either New York City, NY or Boston, MA and it is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. The successful candidate will provide support to help clients coordinate solutions, manage accounts, obtain advice and administer plans. Ensures customer questions and issues are answered correctly and efficiently by documenting and identifying trends in customer service needs. Resolves and oversees customer issues surrounding consulting, information, and software services, solutions and products. In this Client Advisor role, you will develop an understanding of the clients' business strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs to help provide knowledge and advice to complex clients. Builds and maintains relationships with underwriters, and is involved in the placement of sophisticated insurance programs Helps identify the need for new products and develops innovative solutions for clients. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person. The applicable base salary range for this role is $120,500 to $256,700. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives. Requirements

  • Industry experience, Environmental experience preferred
  • P&C license a must, or ability to obtain
  • Bachelors' degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Acts as lead advisory colleague on medium-sized accounts or moderately complex accounts.
  • Cultivates a deep understanding of the clients’ business strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs to provide advice accordingly to client.
  • Utilizes substantial risk expertise and knowledge of industry and insurance market place to review clients’ exposures and loss experience to develop solutions for moderately complex clients needs, including recommending additional products and services as solutions.
  • Presents, develops and executes renewal/placement strategies in conjunction with Placement, Advisory Leaders and Client Executives.
  • Partners with Placement to receive, negotiate and evaluate quotes from carriers and presents the evaluations to clients.
  • Participates in presentations to prospective clients, identifies the need for new products and develops/suggests innovative solutions to client and client team members to gain new clients and projects.
