We are seeking a Client Accounting Training & Development Specialist to join our Firm. This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing learning and development programs that support the needs of the Client Accounting department including: training in business applications, professional skills and Client-specific processes and procedures, in both physical and virtual classroom settings.

Requirements

  • Experience in legal billing.
  • Ability to gain a strong command of new systems, including Aderant Expert and Star Collect.
  • Ability to plan, research, write, and produce technical training materials.
  • Expert knowledge of Excel and entire MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and communicate steps needed for resolution.
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates a high level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Proficient in training methodologies and curriculum development.
  • Current knowledge of industry best practices, trends, and techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to travel and accommodate various time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement learning and development programs for the Client Accounting department.
  • Conduct training in business applications, professional skills, and Client-specific processes and procedures.
  • Test new programs and develop new processes.
  • Create, revise, deliver, and track all training necessary to manage change and integrate new programs.
  • Schedule, track, and provide training to a diverse group of users, including managers and supervisors.
  • Follow established department curriculum and provide recommendations for updates.
  • Create, update, and maintain training materials, including PowerPoint presentations and training manuals.
  • Evaluate and revise training and development programs as necessary.
  • Conduct technical and professional skills training sessions tailored for specific users' roles.
  • Work with managers/supervisors on transitioning new hires from training to mentoring.
  • Test software upgrades and implementations, document new/modified procedures, and assist with developing test cases.
  • Train identified Client Accounting personnel on core department programs and macro reporting tools.
  • Document and provide training on Client-specific processes and procedures.
  • Partner with Client Accounting managers to validate and develop professional skills training programs.
