About The Position

We are searching for an experienced Client Account Manager to join our growing Industrial-Medical team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of clients within the Medical Device Manufacturing industry and oversee projects across the United States and abroad. Projects will span multiple markets and geographies, giving you the opportunity to broaden your knowledge and deepen your expertise in design and construction projects. As a self-starter, you will work independently while also leading a multidisciplinary team without direct supervisory authority to ensure successful project execution. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring client satisfaction by understanding their needs, tailoring service offerings, and overseeing project delivery. You will be actively involved in writing proposals, managing change orders, and reviewing contractual terms, all while ensuring the overall financial performance of the projects. This role requires strong communication skills, as you will be responsible for maintaining executive-level communications with both internal and external stakeholders, updating them on the project's status, health, and risks. The Client Manager will also leverage existing client relationships to win follow-on work and meet sales targets. Although primarily an account management role, you may be required to take on Project Management responsibilities when needed, with a solid understanding of project management techniques for scope, schedule, and budget management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • 10+ years of related experience in Medical Device Manufacturing or A/E/CM services for the Medical market.

  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to advocate for resources within a matrixed organization.
  • Excellent ability to tailor service offerings to meet client needs and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Experience writing proposals, change orders, and reviewing contractual terms.
  • Strong fiscal understanding and experience meeting P&L targets.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales quotas and securing follow-on work from clients.
  • Ability to manage scope, schedule, and budget with a solid understanding of project management techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30%. Hybrid/Remote work is possible but will require travel to Pond's offices for coordination with the internal team.
