About The Position

At ANS, relationships are the foundation of everything we do. As we grow rapidly, we’re formalizing our Commercial team to ensure our client experience scales with intention and that we are driving new business with our clients as we increase the ANS Engineering Service Offering. We’re looking for Client Relations Managers who are passionate about people and who thrive in environments where trust, collaboration, and long-term partnerships matter. This role is ideal for someone who sees client care as a craft: someone who listens deeply, communicates clearly, and builds lasting relationships that reflect the values ANS was built on. You’ll work closely with our Commercial Team Lead, Business Development, and Proposal Writing teams to ensure we are supporting our clients while identifying new opportunities to work with our clients and growing the ANS business.

Requirements

  • A people-first mindset with strong emotional intelligence and communication skills
  • 7-10 Years Experience in sales, business development, account management, client services, or relationship-based roles
  • Demonstrated track record at growing business with assigned accounts
  • Ability to manage multiple client relationships with care, clarity, and consistency
  • Proactive problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications – Pipedrive or Salesforce
  • Proven track record of growing business and maintaining successful accounts
  • Someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with others and making work feel human

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with engineering, renewable energy, or professional services is a plus—but not required

Responsibilities

  • Build & Nurture Client Relationships
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring consistent communication and a high-touch experience
  • Understand client goals, preferences, and pain points to proactively offer solutions and support
  • Maintain long-term relationships that foster trust, loyalty, and repeat business
  • Identify new Opportunities at existing clients and increase share of wallet
  • Collaborate Across the Commercial Team
  • Partner with Business Development to transition new clients smoothly into ongoing relationships
  • Work with Proposal Writers to ensure client needs are accurately reflected in proposals and scopes
  • Coordinate with internal teams to keep projects aligned with client expectations
  • Strategic Account Management
  • Track client satisfaction, engagement, and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Monitor account health, flag risks early, and help resolve issues with empathy and urgency
  • Contribute to account planning and growth strategies alongside the Commercial Team Lead
  • Scale the ANS Way
  • Help formalize systems and processes that preserve our relational approach as we grow
  • Bring creativity and intentionality to client touchpoints—from kickoff calls to milestone celebrations
  • Represent ANS’s values in every interaction, making clients feel like part of the family
