About The Position

The Client Account Manager at MedPOINT Management plays a crucial role in managing and developing relationships between Client IPA Stakeholders and the organization. Under the guidance of the PNO Senior Manager, this position acts as a key liaison among stakeholders, providers, and both internal and external teams. The primary objective is to ensure the timely delivery of solutions that align with Client IPA needs. This role also supports contracting and compliance efforts, which are essential for maintaining network adequacy and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements for Client IPA(s). In this position, the Client Account Manager will be responsible for overseeing projects and addressing urgent issues by acting as a communication link between Client IPA Stakeholders and Providers. Regular meetings will be conducted to translate information into actionable items that enhance service delivery. Building relationships with other departments is vital for resolving provider issues and collaborating on client projects. The Client Account Manager will lead Client IPA meetings, track action items, and ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner. The role also involves overseeing the implementation of client projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and according to client specifications. The Client Account Manager will resolve contractual, operational, and payment issues, performing root cause analysis on escalated inquiries. Educating providers on new protocols and ensuring HIPAA compliance is another critical aspect of this role. Additionally, the Client Account Manager will support credentialing, quality investigations, and monitor required reporting. Monitoring account performance metrics and preparing reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement are also key responsibilities. The position requires analyzing utilization trends to identify potential fraud, waste, and opportunities for improvement, as well as interfacing with Health Plan representatives to resolve service issues and manage special projects. Other duties and assignments may be required as needed.
