You will help phData’s clients formulate and realize their AI & Data goals by bridging phData’s strong technical expertise with your credibility, strategic insight, and deep industry expertise. You're a trusted partner who brings extensive relevant industry knowledge, consulting depth, business acumen, and technology fluency to every conversation. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build and lead high-value relationships with the world’s most innovative data-driven organizations—while working with one of the top pure-play data, analytics, and AI consultancies in the market. We are hiring across the United States, with a strong preference for candidates based in the Central region of the U.S. to align with client coverage and time zone collaboration. We have a strong preference for candidates with experience in the Restaurant/Hospitality or Technology sectors.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of consulting experience in your vertical (deep in-house industry experience will be considered in lieu of consulting).
  • Proven success owning and scaling a strategic account portfolio, with the ability to engage in meaningful business and technology discussions—not just sell services.
  • Proven track record owning and growing strategic accounts, including responsibility for $5–15M+ in annual revenue targets.
  • Hands-on collaboration with data and technology teams: Partner closely with data engineering, analytics, and ML teams to design, sell, and oversee implementation of modern data solutions (data platforms, pipelines, governance, analytics, and AI)
  • Demonstrated ability to build executive relationships and influence strategic roadmaps across both IT and business stakeholders.
  • Credibility built on meaningful results—long tenure in a role where you drove significant revenue, retention, and/or transformation outcomes.
  • Experience working in matrixed organizations and influencing cross-functional teams to deliver client success.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%, depending on client needs and business priorities.

  • Healthcare Industry Experience
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, with experience working for or consulting to payers (health insurance organizations) or providers (health systems, hospitals, or clinics).
  • Success building trusted relationships with executive stakeholders at leading healthcare organizations, navigating complex regulatory and compliance-driven environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive growth and deliver measurable transformation within healthcare accounts through data, analytics, or AI solutions.
  • Familiarity with unique challenges and opportunities in healthcare—such as interoperability, patient engagement, population health, reimbursement, and value-based care.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Account Strategy: Lead a portfolio of strategic accounts across industries, creating and executing long-term growth plans in partnership with phData’s Go-to-Market, Delivery, and Partner teams.
  • Own Revenue & Profitability: Deliver $5 –15M+ in annual bookings through both net-new and expansion work, ensuring profitable, scalable growth across your accounts.
  • Build Executive Relationships: Cultivate trusted advisor status with CxOs and senior business leaders; lead strategic discussions across business and IT stakeholders.
  • Champion Client Outcomes: Maintain ~40% utilization, staying close to the delivery of programs to ensure high-impact results and exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Elevate Our Brand: Represent phData at industry events, conferences, and panels, helping grow our presence and reputation within your vertical.
  • Leverage Ecosystem Partners: Activate and grow partnerships (e.g., Snowflake, AWS) to bring added value to clients and accelerate growth.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate across Go-to-Market, Delivery, Finance, and Product teams to align on account health, project success, and future opportunity.
