The CLICC Program and Projects Administrator (CLICC PPA) at UCLA is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Campus Library Instructional Computing Commons (CLICC) and managing special projects related to the deployment of new and enhanced services. This role requires strong leadership, administrative support, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with various teams within the library's IT Operations and Services.

  • Manage and supervise student schedules and support daily operations of CLICC.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support as necessary.
  • Perform training and supervision in all CLICC spaces and support services.
  • Lead and manage special projects or assignments that are time-sensitive or complex.
  • Serve as a member of the CLICC Operations and CLICC Leads and Schedulers team.
  • Act as a liaison to other Library units and coordinate communication about CLICC services.
  • Demonstrated experience working as a self-starter with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with operations of high-volume tech and user support services in educational or library institutions.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising and training others effectively.
  • Experience creating and implementing projects and priorities for supervised staff.
  • Familiarity with wiki-based documentation systems and ticketing support systems.
  • Skill in short- and long-term planning to meet departmental workflow demands.
  • Ability to make immediate decisions based on situational and policy considerations.
  • Interpersonal skills to maintain cooperative working relationships.
  • Ability to work harmoniously in a team-based environment.
