Travel: While primarily a remote position, employee will be required to conduct onsite lab visits from time to time depending on department needs. From time to time, additional in-person team meetings may be required as well.

Requirements

3+ or more years of laboratory compliance experience preferred.
GED/High school diploma required, Associates degree or higher preferred.
Conflict resolution skills must be exceptionally developed
Leadership qualities with excellent communication skills
Strong computer literacy
Working knowledge of HIPAA & OSHA compliance

Responsibilities

Manage all office-based CLIA administrative tasks including but not limited to:
New applications
Status change applications
Tracking inspection dates.
Monitoring certificate expiration dates.
Transitioning CLIA paperwork during new acquisitions.
Collaborate with General Managers to:
Educate GMs and teams on CLIA expectations and best practices.
Lead pre-inspection preparation sessions (virtual or onsite) to prepare for upcoming inspections.
Create detailed action items lists for GMs to complete in order to avoid deficiencies.
Provide onsite support during CLIA surveys as you see necessary or as directed by leadership.
Create Plans of Correction post inspection as necessary, work with GM and Lab Director to meet all requirements.
Track all Plans of Correction until resolved.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor on an as-needed basis.
