About The Position

IQVIA in partnership with PRN Vision group is recruiting for a Direct Hire Regional Account Manager. As a Regional Account Manager (RAM), you will drive growth and build lasting partnerships with private optometry and ophthalmology practices, as well as local alliances and practice groups. Your mission is to improve patient health outcomes by promoting our comprehensive OTC Eye Health Solutions platform.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years in outside field sales or experience in an eyecare office.
  • Healthcare or supplements sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of the eye care industry is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Proven relationship-building and influencing skills.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills; data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), CRM (preferably Salesforce), and PowerBI.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed sales goals (monthly, quarterly, annual) for your territory.
  • Prospect and close new business opportunities across a multi-state region.
  • Deliver in-office education and training to doctors and staff, increasing product recommendations and patient conversions.
  • Communicate brand and product information effectively.
  • Attend and represent the company at trade shows, exhibits, dinner programs, and presentations (including some weekends).
  • Travel overnight as needed (approx. 1 week/month).
  • Develop and implement strategies to boost product awareness and sales growth.
  • Engage customers remotely via webinars and video conferencing.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with key account personnel.
  • Collaborate with Area Sales Managers and National Account Manager to meet performance objectives.
  • Continuously assess and address customer needs, reporting challenges and solutions.
  • Utilize Salesforce and PowerBI to manage customer interactions and monitor sales.
  • Apply best practices to maximize growth and profitability.
  • Manage time, organization, and expenses within budget.
