About The Position
The Stockroom Clerk position at Hydra Electric involves following defined procedures to receive, store, and issue materials and supplies used in production. This role is crucial in maintaining the flow of materials necessary for manufacturing processes. The Stockroom Clerk will be responsible for performing daily cycle counting, which ensures that inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date. Additionally, the clerk will receive and store incoming materials from inspection departments, ensuring that all materials are properly accounted for and stored in an organized manner. In this role, the Stockroom Clerk will issue materials in accordance with work order requirements, which requires attention to detail and adherence to production schedules. Maintaining electronic inventory records using a computerized system is a key responsibility, as it helps track stock levels and facilitates efficient inventory management. The clerk is also expected to keep the stockroom neat and orderly, which is essential for safety and efficiency in the workplace. Other related duties may be assigned as needed, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the production team.
