Pay Range for this position is: $18.14-$27.22 plus annual bonus, depending on experience. ---------------------------------------- POSITION SUMMARY The Storeroom Clerk reports to the Maintenance Manager and is based out of our Seabrook, New Jersey location. This individual will be responsible for supporting the Maintenance, Production, and Warehousing of needed materials. This individual should have familiarity with inventory maintenance and a thorough understanding of intermediate mathematics, industrial mechanics, and safe work practices are required. The position works closely with all departments.

Requirements

A high school diploma or GED
Must successfully complete and pass forklift safety training
Previous inventory control experience
Basic computer skills – using MS Outlook Mail, MS Word, and Excel
Ability to work independently with limited supervision, working in a team environment

Nice To Haves

Experience in the food/beverage industry
Previous experience in Manufacturing or production environment
Ability to direct, coach, and train others
Consultative, influential, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinates the daily operations of the company stockroom, which provides a wide variety of products utilized by company Team members. Organization is a key factor in this position.
Verify pricing and inventory accuracy, as well as location accuracy through a system of cycle counts, spot checks, and quarterly inventory count
Secure work area and limit access to parts, ensure adequate inventory levels, and help identify and prioritize A equipment, B equipment, and C equipment
Assist in pulling parts for staff and ensuring 100% of distributed parts are sold to work orders
Check in incoming deliveries on a daily basis and receive into the system
Review stockroom organization for any opportunity for increased efficiency change
Enters material requisitions
Determination and identification of excess stocking levels, trends, and obsolete items
Perform other duties as assigned
