This individual will be responsible for supporting the Maintenance, Production, and Warehousing of needed materials. This individual should have familiarity with inventory maintenance and a thorough understanding of intermediate mathematics, industrial mechanics, and safe work practices are required. The position works closely with all departments.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Must successfully complete and pass forklift safety training
  • Previous inventory control experience
  • Basic computer skills – using MS Outlook Mail, MS Word, and Excel
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision, working in a team environment

  • Experience in the food/beverage industry 
  • Previous experience in Manufacturing or production environment

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates the daily operations of the company stockroom, which provides a wide variety of products utilized by company Team members. Organization is a key factor in this position.
  • Verify pricing and inventory accuracy, as well as location accuracy through a system of cycle counts, spot checks, and quarterly inventory count 
  • Secure work area and limit access to parts, ensure adequate inventory levels, and help identify and prioritize A equipment, B equipment, and C equipment
  • Assist in pulling parts for staff and ensuring 100% of distributed parts are sold to work orders 
  • Check in incoming deliveries on a daily basis and receive into the system
  • Review stockroom organization for any opportunity for increased efficiency change 
  • Enters material requisitions
  • Determination and identification of excess stocking levels, trends, and obsolete items
  • Perform other duties as assigned
