About The Position

WinnCompanies is looking for a dependable and motivated Clerk of the Works to assist in the rehabilitation of Academy Homes I, a 202-unit residential community located in Roxbury, MA. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact and interface between the construction team, development team, management company, and property owner during this rehabilitation. This opportunity offers a pays a rate of $30.00 to $35.00 per hour.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in customer service, property management, or construction project coordination.
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work.
  • Excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks.
  • Superb attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the construction supervisor and coordinate with the security company to ensure the proper number of guards are available daily for construction activities. Issue keys to security company and collect keys at the end of the day.
  • Prepare and coordinate the delivery of notices to the residents. Evaluate resident complaints or damage and report back to the property manager.
  • Attend and participate in construction meetings to understand the construction schedule and monitor.
  • Ensure the safety of the residents during the rehabilitation project. Notify and stop work if the work is deemed to be unsafe.
  • Ensure the construction company housekeeping is maintained on a daily basis.
