This position is for a Medical Records Clerk who will float between locations. The role involves receiving and processing requests for medical record copies in compliance with state and federal law. Key duties include preparing, scanning, indexing, and performing quality assurance on patient documents for the electronic health record. The clerk will also analyze records for incomplete or missing deficiencies according to medical staff bylaws, locate and track legacy records, and coordinate the merging of medical records across various systems and physical charts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies and procedures.
