About The Position
Clerical position consisting of data entry, verifying accuracy of paperwork on items delivered, addressing issues immediately with vendor and/or internal department managers, assisting material yard foremen with issues pertaining to deliveries, maintain filing system, copying, scanning ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Reasonable Accommodations Statement To accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential function satisfactorily. Essential Functions Statements Examine shipment contents and compare with purchase orders. Receive material into receipt routing. Label received materials with barcodes. Process MTR's (scan, file, etc.). Store or re-route material as needed. Maintain documentation to show all yard/job row locations. Maintain filing system. Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications. Assist yard supervisors/foremen with tasks as needed. Input material receipts into JDE system
Requirements
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED); Required
- 2-3 years of experience in pipe fabrication field
- Experience with Microsoft Office and JDEdwards
- Knowledge of piping materials (visual & descriptions)
