About The Position

Receives incoming material and prepares materials for shipment while following shipping practices and procedures and transportation routing, schedules and requirements.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office basics.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic math.
• Ability to learn industry-related software.
• Proficiently use Syteline Item Maintenance, SRO maintenance, Incident Maintenance, Inventory, Purchasing screens, and BI reporting.

Responsibilities

• Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of outgoing shipments against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Determines method of shipment.
• Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers.
• Follows shipping practices/procedures and transportation routing schedules and requirements.
• Operates a forklift.
• Maintains a safe and audit-ready work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
