Logistic Clerk supports transportation team with scheduling material movement, managing transportation partners and perform invoicing review and audit. Logistics clerk also support supply chain functions like procurement, repair and distribution with various tasks and responsibilities. This position manages department website, office supplies, personnel vacation, travel support and some other administrative assistance. Some of the typical responsibilities of this position are - Manage request for quote (RFQ) to approved freight carriers; compares responses from freight providers and arranges/coordinates shipments. Review, audit and code freight invoices for approvals. Performs invoice reconciliation and manage invoice exceptions with suppliers. File and manage claims with freight carriers for lost or damaged shipments. Compile monthly supplier shipment report. Assist Logistics Manager and Analyst with supplier performance measurement activities. Manages internal logistics for the Inventory Logistics & Procurement Department.
