About The Position

This is office and administrative support work of a supervisory nature in managing office support services for one or more operational units within the agency. Responsibilities include overseeing, monitoring, and coordinating functions relating to personnel, clerical services, and office operations. Supervises subordinate State employees. Work requires exercising independent judgement, initiative, and discretion to make determinations on varied matters. This position works closely with Regional Program Management to coordinate the day-to-day Program activities.

Requirements

  • Six (6) years of responsible clerical experience to include two (2) years performing supervision or performing highly independent clerical work.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the development and distribution of the Regional Program highlights.
  • Managing the distribution of project communications.
  • Managing the set-up and scheduling of various meetings.
  • Ensuring invoices and other payments are tracked and paid in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring that project documentation is entered into the Department’s document management system.
  • Managing the Regional Program main phone line.
  • Planning, monitoring, and reviewing the work of administrative support staff.
