About The Position

The Inventory Support Clerk is responsible for executing assigned daily duties to ensure appropriate inventory levels for the Remanufacturing production lines. Inventory activities include receiving, shipping, and related inventory control activities. The Clerk is also responsible for the preparation and care of assigned tools and equipment used during assigned tasks.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 – 3 years’ relevant experience to include any combination of: Work experience in a warehouse environment. Experience with shipping and receiving. Inventory control experience.
  • Obtaining Forklift Certification to drive both stand-up, sit-down, and walk-behind forklift trucks is required upon hire
  • Must be able to follow all established policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to consistently maintain and demonstrate a high regard for personal safety, and for the safety of company assets and others in the workplace.
  • Must be a problem solver with the ability to identify problems, identify key issues, and develop and implement corrective actions for resolution.
  • Basic understanding of computer applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as the ability to learn and effectively utilize other software applications used within the Company.
  • Well-balanced interpersonal skills; Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management, employees, customers, and outside vendors; Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Must be accountable and able to take direction from Managers; follow work rules; keep required work schedules, which include regular and predictable job attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory Level Maintenance - 50%
  • Maintain appropriate inventory of production line stock parts according to production level forecast.
  • Replenish inventory supplies via pushcart to meet production schedule.
  • Move supplies to and from production lines via lift truck to ensure adequate supply levels are maintained in the production area.
  • Deliver cores to disassembly area as directed by the production schedule.
  • Inventory Control - 25%
  • Conduct physical inventory to match on-hand material with system record.
  • Regularly examine parts and supplies inventory levels for shortages.
  • Receiving - 15%
  • Receive and count stock items, i.e., cores.
  • Record receiving stock items into ERP system.
  • Appropriately and efficiently store all received parts.
  • Shipping - 10%
  • Prepare and package products for shipping per established guidelines.
  • Ship finished goods to customers.
