About The Position

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent are preferred.
  • Two years related experience preferred.
  • Attains Pearson Vue administrator credential
  • Madison County, IL residency requirements must be met within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of Social Media
  • Answers phones, receives and refers phone calls/visitors
  • Maintains teacher certification professional files
  • Maintains computerized state and county certification, GED, records
  • Maintains accounts of daily cash receipts and appropriate ledgers
  • Types various forms, documents, correspondence, etc.
  • Maintains accounts and appropriate ledgers for certification, GED fingerprinting, etc., and forwards paperwork to outside agencies as required
  • Secures fingerprinting files, GED files and teacher certifications
  • Performs searches on Illinois State Police and IL Sex Offender websites for all teaching and bus driver applications
  • Works with ISBE on facilitation of licensure issues for schools and districts
  • Uploads transcripts and updates degree information to ISBE teacher accounts
  • Completes correspondence/clerical work for Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Office Manager
