The County Clerk has 2 openings in their office for a full-time Clerk I. The duties of the Clerk I in the County Clerk's Office processes transactions for the department and maintains files of the County Clerk which include election data, birth certificates, death certificates, marriage certificates, assumed name business registrations, Statement of Economic Interest filings, Notary Public registrations, voter registrations, tax redemption, County Board files, County contracts, maps, and tax extension. This is a union position with AFSCME. Rate of pay is set by union contract and is non-negotiable.
