About The Position

QUALIFICATIONS Required: A positive attitude; punctual; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; strong customer service skills; comfort and experience with computer systems; Excellent spelling and problem solving skills; and Knowledge of proper telephone techniques, pleasant telephone voice and correct grammar usage. Preferred: Accuracy and attention to detail, ability to prioritize and organize work demands; Computer experience TYPICAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS Medium physical/mental capabilities required. Must be able to work independently as well with others. Must be able to prioritize work demands and organize time efficiently. Must be clear thinking. Able to work with time constraints, high stress situations and multiple tasks. Must be able to manage multiple telephone lines and multiple computer systems. Excellent problem solving skills required. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Provides excellent customer service to new members and existing members.
  • Updates membership information, including processing new membership applications.
  • Manages and processes payments including point of sale transactions.
  • Maintains work area in clean and neat order.
  • Updates reservations and schedules for tennis, pickleball, and fitness classes.
  • Assist with light janitorial and cleaning duties such as cleaning fitness equipment, tennis courts, and other gym areas.
  • May occasionally support mass communications to members, including marketing to new members on fitness center events and offerings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Knowledge of the operation of copiers, fax and other small business machines.
