The Data Control Clerk position is a part-time role that involves a variety of tasks related to the preparation and management of testing materials. The clerk will also be responsible for formatting, constructing, and publishing tests, as well as assisting in the preparation of ancillary materials necessary for testing. This role requires preparation for summer writing workshops and the overall test development process, ensuring that all materials are ready and secure for use. In addition to the above tasks, the Data Control Clerk will assist in editing and proofing exams to maintain high standards of quality. Security of test materials is paramount, and the clerk will be responsible for maintaining this security throughout the process. The role also includes assisting with the printing, packaging, and distribution of test materials to schools and staff as needed. Responding to inquiries from employees and the public in an accurate and efficient manner is also a key responsibility, as is providing information on the distribution of test materials upon request. The clerk will receive, quality control, and assist with the distribution of state and local tests, which includes scanning test answer documents and sorting boxes of nonscorable test materials and other testing supplies. Maintaining an activity log and entering items into an online database is required, along with discussing and providing feedback to the supervisor on project progress. The role may also involve performing other related duties as assigned by the supervisor, making it a dynamic position that requires adaptability and attention to detail.
