About The Position
This position performs billing and collection duties associated with revenue cycling. The role includes all necessary items in the revenue cycling process such as posting charges and reviewing them for reasonability and conflicts. Responsibilities also include following up on Accounts Receivable for insurance companies and patients directly, obtaining pre-authorizations for surgeries, admissions, procedures, and visits, referring patients to collections as necessary, and maintaining accounts and referrals. Related work may be required as needed.
