About The Position

Provides extraordinary care to our customers through friendly, courteous, and professional service through a broad understanding of account handling processes, extraordinary interpersonal skills, and the ability to resolve complex issues in a timely and accurate manner. Essential Functions Operates office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, personal computers. Prepares for mailing insurance and patient refunds and paperwork by utilizing multiple resources, including on-site equipment and the ability to resolve issues in a timely and accurate manner. Maintains supplies needed for onsite office operations. Manages Returned Mail. Indexes inbound and outbound correspondence for the department.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
  • Computer Literacy including troubleshooting
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to self-organize
  • Knowledge of operating various office equipment
  • Knowledge of various software applications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • Six (6) months experience in healthcare clerical setting required
  • Hybrid position, associate must be able to commute to the office weekly
  • Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.
  • See and read computer monitors and documents.
  • Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, or other equipment.
  • May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies, bending, kneeling and reaching.

Nice To Haves

  • Twelve (12) months experience in a healthcare clerical setting preferred
