Provides comprehensive clerical and administrative support to the department, assisting in the smooth running of daily operations and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. Responds effectively to general enquiries from patients and staff, primarily via telephone, offering clear guidance, directing callers appropriately, and ensuring that information is communicated in a courteous and professional manner. Undertakes a wide range of administrative duties, such as preparing documentation, maintaining records, updating systems, managing correspondence, and supporting routine departmental processes as required. Demonstrates strong communication skills and the ability to multitask, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail while prioritising a varied workload in a fast ‑ paced environment. Delivers a high ‑ quality, patient ‑ focused administrative service, ensuring that accurate information is provided promptly and that interactions contribute positively to the overall patient and staff experience. Advert To provide admin support to the Podiatry department. This will involve taking calls from patients and clinical staff, assessing their requirements and finding solutions. Admin staff will take on several key tasks that will need to be performed in a timely and accurate manner. Full training and support will be provided for this role.
