Saint Mary’s Hospital is seeking a Clerical Coordinator to provide administrative support within our Emergency Department. This role involves managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and facilitating communication between patients, families, and medical staff. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current BLS or CPR Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Ability to pass drug screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

  • Answering phones, directing calls, and relaying messages to medical staff.
  • Facilitating communication between patients, families, and medical staff.
  • Coordinating patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Scheduling appointments, procedures, and transportation for patients.
  • Coordinating with other healthcare departments and facilities.
  • Providing general information to patients and visitors.
