About The Position

Clerical Partners support the clerical / administrative aspects of patient care delivery and serve as a liaison for patients, visitors, and staff. Hours: 7am-7:30pm, weekend and holiday rotation - PART-TIME

Responsibilities

• Answers phones, patient calls, takes messages, and refers questions and answers to the appropriate individual.
• Maintains unit supply of forms and prepares appropriate packets and information for admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Monitors and order supplies
• Performs computer-based functions including admission, transfer, and discharge including making follow-up appointments.
• Provides clerical support to the timely delivery of patient care.
• Serves as a customer service representative, receptionist, and liaison among patient, family, staff, and medical staff.
• Supports relationship based care by providing compassionate, holistic care to patients, family, and co-workers and promoting a safe, caring, and healing environment.
• Tracks and monitors the locations of all patients, and facilitates the movement of the patient from one care modality to the next, may sit with patients at times.
